AIR POLLUTION AND YOUR AIR FILTER
Pollution of the Air is one of the most uncontrolled problems in the environment today. Statistics show that almost two thirds of the population in the United States are sure that this problem has increased from the past testing. For the most part, evidence confirms otherwise. Identifying this conclusion, air pollution has significantly been reduced over the years.
Much of this can be traced to the basis that cars nowadays have revamped and updated emission systems. Today, you would have to put 20 cars together in order to concur the level of carbon monoxide emission an automobile from 30 years ago generates. That's how big the advancement is! Also there have been certain accomplishments that the government worked on which greatly helped in the reduction of this problem.
However, all these efforts will be in vain if you have a faulty car air filter since it's the one responsible for keeping foreign particles from entering your car's engine. Once these particles enter, it can cause great damage to it. We all know that air pollution is present in the air we breathe. But do you know that it can occur inside your car as well? Faulty air filters can affect the quality of air that circulates in the car. So if there is an awful smell in your car or you have been coughing more frequently lately, better have your air filter checked.
If you don't have the time or budget to have your air filter checked by a professional, do it by yourself. Since air filters are classified under replaceable parts, it is quite easy to take out and install. All you have to do is open the air filter compartment, remove the old one and put the new one in place. That's it. Just be careful not to damage the surrounding parts while doing the process. And you are all done.
